Default This is why I love GW's

strangely not a Q Q thread

I was about to go out and do a few farming run, slightly bored with soloing it I decided to use some summoning stone to help break the boredom.

What epic Creature/ demon / ally did I get?

White Rabbit.
Or I should say the White Rabbit of Doooooommmm.
He single handedly save my butt at least twice. And it was the most epic farm run ever, watching mobs be partly owned by a lil white rabbit; I spent half the run giggling at his attacks. In the end I almost could bring myself to zone.

And this is why I love GW.
Thank you.

Look at the bones! One of my all time favs. I was also reminded of this while following that evil bunny down the hole in Drakkar Lake. Most say it is more so Alice in Wonderland but to those: "I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hampster and your father smellt of elder berries! Now go away! Come back, and I shall taunt you a second time!"

I have never played a game where the devs spent so much time just entertaining the players. The only one that came close was Dungeon Keeper from 1997 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeon_Keeper .

Each time they add something new to the game, I know that somewhere in it will be something hilarious.

The white rabbits are awesome (and tough little suckers, too). I had one out when I was vanquishing a while back, and he was ripping stuff up.

I like to put Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit on when he shows up

Arcanum was just a single player rpg so it wasn't updated with new lulz but they had tons and tons just like GWs does.
The Vorpal Bunny in there was the beastliest beast in the game, still good times for such an old game, can't help but go bash around in there from time to time.

Tell which ever Dev came up with that lil critter that I had one of the best days in GW, because of the bunny's antics and attacks, in like 3yrs

I don't think you need to worry about that. The devs really get into this stuff, so I don't expect a bland game from ArenaNet. They put stuff in and then wait to see if anyone notices or makes the right connection.

WTB Rabbit pet for GW or GW2. They are way too epic with their neck biting

These references are why I love Guild Wars so much. I really have to give the devs kudos.
